No, don't misinterpret the title. I have not gone and brought a balance back into my life and stopped my myopic obsession with photography. The two books I'm thinking about are "The Digital Photography Book" and the well titled "The Digital Photography Book 2". They came from amazon after what seemed like an interminable wait. They are just what I was looking for. Good solid tips on how to make better pictures. Very little theory; lots of practical suggestions. Highly recommended.
