So since becoming a photography freak I've been making some purchases from B&H, the legendary camera store in New York. I'm on their email mailing list and yesterday came this picture with the caption. Mother of all Telephotos. It seems that they have gotten ahold of one of the extremely rare Canon 1200/5.6 custom lenses. Canon's lead time to deliver a new one is 18 months. They claim less than twenty and more than a dozen in existence. The punch-line. This used one is $99,000. Crazy. Still being able to take my favorite street candid's from a half a mile away would mean getting shots completely unaware.
